In October 2010, the International Sales Conference of The Travel Company (TTC), the first in a decade, was officially opened in Cape Town, South Africa. This conference was an important event, both for the international company and for South Africa itself – it was for a 5-days period in which over 350 of the company’s leading business leaders and decision makers acquainted themselves and got a first impression of the hosting country. But the conference wasn't only about getting to know the geography and culture, but also about exploring and discovering new business opportunities and ways in which enterprise development and growth could assist and sustain locally for the long term.

Brett Tollman was born in 1961, is the 3rd generation in a proud South-African family of hoteliers and travel specialists. His passion for the travel industry was evident since his youth, and he graduated from Cornell University, achieving a B.Sc degree in Hotel Management.
Brett G. Tollman takes his business – and the entire tourism and hotel industry – very seriously. But not everything in his live involves business and charities: Brett Tollman is a devoted family man, dedicated to his wife and their three children. Hobbies are also an important part of his life: Apart from being an avid wildlife preserver, Brett Tollman is also very much interested in cooking, fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and manages to fit yoga, pilates, tennis and other forms of exercise into his busy schedule. From time to time he enjoys a good book or watching a film, and a fine glass of wine with a home cooked meal.In addition, history is one of Brett Tollman's many fields of interests, as well as photography.
Brett Tollman has a thorough understanding of the importance of growth that is in keeping with the environment’s strength. Tollman’s philosophy has become a company policy and he strongly emphasizes that it is the responsibility of each company and each human being to protect and restore our environment.
